Founded by Jenni Li, who traveled to visit her father in Peru and then brought goods back to her hometown of Brooklyn, NY. Friends began coveting the goods she brought back, which sparked the idea for the brand. Honoring the traditional Peruvian indigenous materials and techniques, Intiearth’s mission is to preserve, celebrate, and support Peru's culture and craftsmanship. They explore remote Peruvian villages to discover the most unique textiles and patterns, making them available here in the United States. They are committed to economically empowering indigenous women through fair trade, ethical, and environmentally sustainable partnerships. “Inti” means “Inca Sun God,” and “Earth” reflects their commitment to the planet.
