ESPIRITU's journey began in central Mexico, where they discovered a town known for handcrafted huaraches—leather sandals rooted in centuries of tradition. Back in Denver, they wore them daily and quickly sparked curiosity everywhere we went.

Inspired, they returned to Mexico to partner directly with artisans, blending tradition with modern design. What started with 100 pairs for friends soon became their life’s mission.

Espíritu was born—a cooperative supporting over 240 artisan families through fair pay and meaningful work. Every pair honors their heritage, skill, and community.
